Achieving Sustainability With Electric Vehicles
Carbon Emission
On average, each individual passenger vehicle in the United States, emits anywhere from 4-5+ tons of carbon pollution. These emissions are greenhouse gasses and linger in our atmosphere and have long-term negative effects.
Carbon Dioxide
Carbon dioxide is the primary greenhouse gas output from automotive exhausts. This gas gets trapped in our atmosphere, forcing the Earth below to slowly heat up.
Carbon Dioxide is perhaps the most harmful gas for humans and other living organisms to ingest, and even more harmful for the planet.
Greenhouse Effect
The greenhouse effect is a process that occurs when the gas that is in Earth's atmosphere traps in the Sun's heat.
This process warms our Earth, and poses a deadly threat to all living and non-living organisms. Things such as humans, plants, animals, oceans, and entire ecosystems must adapt to the sudden increase in temperature, or become extinct. If we continue to move at the pace we are moving at presently, these organisms will not be able to adapt.
